School of Languages „LOGMAR” Rybnik Poland is looking for a friendly full time native teacher of English as a foreign language, a EU citizen for the academic year commencing September/October 2006 through June 2007.
University degree (at least B.A. ) a must , CELTA Certificate or equivalent in ELT as well as some teaching experience, an advantage.
The right candidate would be an enthusiastic, flexible person, able to adjust to Polish reality and share our ups and downs.

As one of our teachers, you would be expected to teach 24 lessons (45 minutes` periods) a week mostly afternoons and evenings. Most groups are taught the tandem system ( once a week with a native speaker, once a week with a Polish teacher) the native teacher’s part consisting of practical conversation as well as developing the writing skills. You would mostly teach teenagers, young adults and/or some corporate courses preparing them for the oral part of the FCE and CAE Cambridge Examinations.
What we can offer in return is:
• minimum 3, 600.00 PLN (20% tax deductible)
• overtime lessons paid extra on agreement (40.00 per 45 min.) will let you earn the total of 5,000.00 PLN monthly
• help with arranging accommodation (all inclusive cost around 800 PLN per month)
• 5 weeks paid holidays (two weeks at Christmas, two weeks at mid-term in February, a week at Easter)
• all books and teaching materials provided
• methodology guidance provided.
