Aston University’s modular MSc TESOL program is famous for its global availability via the distance learning mode. Aston has established support centers around the world; you will not need to move to the United Kingdom. The focus of the program is on Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and Teaching English for Specific Purposes. Students are admitted every quarter. Prospective students are required to have at least three years teaching experience and an undergraduate degree (which can be waived in some circumstances). A dissertation is required. The Master of Arts in English Language Teaching program is recognized worldwide. Full-time students can earn the degree in one year (two semesters and summer). A dissertation of up to 15,000 words is required. Applicants are required to have an undergraduate degree, preferably in languages; teaching experience is not required but an interview may be. According to CUHK, more than eleven applications are submitted for each available seat each year. An undergraduate degree, preferably in Applied Linguistics or English, is required.
