Details
Busan or Pusan, however you want to spell it, is one of the most beautiful cities in
South Korea. Rugged coast, beautiful beaches, mountains, the sea, warm climate and
great attractions make this a great destination to live and work in South Korea.

Teachers with a B.A. start at 1.8 million won per month (tax free except for
Canadians), with a KRW 300,000 signing bonus, and free furnished single housing.
Teachers with a 100 hour TESL/TEFL certification, a B.Ed, a teaching license or a
Master's Degree start at 2.0 million won per month, and teachers with the above
qualifications and two years of teaching experience start at 2.3 million won per
month. Teachers placed in rural locations are eligible for an additional KRW 100,000
per month. Free airport pick up is
included. One way airfare is reimbursed and the school will purchase you a ticket
home upon the successful completion of your contract. Fifty percent of medical
insurance is paid by the Provincial or Metropolitan Office of Education. Foreign
teachers work with Korean co-teachers. The teaching hours are only 22 hours per
week, although teachers are required to be at school from 9 to 5. Your evenings are
always free. Two weeks of paid vacation in addition to national holidays is also
included.
